Voyage Overview

The Brazilian Brigue-escuna, Nossa Senhora da Conceição, left Bahia on 14 February 1822 and purchased 365 enslaved people at Lagos (no date recorded). The captain, Manoel Joaquim de Miranda, sailed the vessel, owned by Luís José Pereira Rocha, back toward Brazil as intended, when it likely landed at São Salvador da Bahia on 29 September1822.
