The Spanish Brig, Conquistador, left Havana in April 1824 and purchased 561 enslaved people at Ouidah (no date recorded). The captain, N. Escala, sailed the vessel back toward Cuba as intended, when it likely landed at Cabañas in January 1825. Only 514 people survived the Middle Passage. For more information, see Map of 1825.
