Teresa (1834)
Voyage Overview
The Brazilian brig, Teresa, left Brazil in 1834 and purchased 490 enslaved people at Ouidah (no date recorded). The undocumented captain sailed the vessel toward Brazil, when it likely landed in Bahia in 1834. Only 444 people survived the Middle Passage. For more information, see Map of 1834.
